Massage Therapist
Jennifer is a life long resident of Grand Marais, MN, and has been practicing massage
on the North Shore of Lake Superior for over 30 years. She attended Sister Roslin’s School of Massage in 1989.
In 2005, she graduated with honors from Lake Superior College in Duluth, with an associate degree in nursing. Choosing to dedicate her nursing education towards her massage career, she took advanced training in Myofascial/Structural Integration Therapy in 2007. Combining her degree in nursing with her therapeutic bodywork education and extensive experience, Jennifer offers her clients a unique massage session that is both relaxing and therapeutic, which is tailored to the specific needs of their body.

Nancy Lang
Massage Therapist
Nancy trained at the Boulder School of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado, with an emphasis in
Therapeutic & Rehabilitative Massage. Over the past 29 years, she has expanded her skills with training in
advanced techniques of Integrative Myofascial Therapy, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, and Oncology Massage.
Since moving to Grand Marais in 1997, she has provided her North Shore clients with
relaxing and therapeutic bodywork, as well as clinical massage working
with patient’s chronic illness, injury prevention, injury recovery, and post-surgical needs.
A member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, Nancy is also a wilderness guide/instructor,
a member of Cook County Search & Rescue, and former volunteer EMT.
Nancy’s intuitive, soothing style blends the benefits of different techniques to create a tailored massage that will help melt away your tension, and ease tired, achy muscles. Whether it’s relief from stress and pain,
or pure relaxation, her focus is to adapt to your individual needs.

Ashley Kolar
Massage Therapist
A resident of Duluth, MN, Ashley has been practicing massage and offering esthetician services
along the North Shore for over 10 years. She earned a degree in Communications
at the University of Minnesota in Duluth.
Realizing her passion was in helping others, she switched her profession to Massage Therapy and Esthetics.
She graduated from the International Dermal Institute of Minneapolis in 2013. She then entered
an extensive apprenticeship in massage therapy with North Shore Health Therapies, where she specialized in Myofascial/Structural Integration Therapies. Owning her own massage therapy practice for over 9 years
along the North Shore of Lake Superior, has blessed her with the ability to use her gift of healing
and share her bright beautiful energy with clients that become family.

Shanna Thompson
Massage Therapist
Shanna, being a native of Silver Bay, MN, and has over 17 years of experience in massage and cosmetology
on the North Shore. Graduating from CCU College in Duluth in 2006, she earned
her degree and managers license in cosmetology. She continued on to an extensive apprenticeship
in massage with North Shore HealthTherapies, specializing in Myofascial/Structural Integration Therapy.
Massage being her true life’s passion, Shanna combines her skills as an Esthetician,
Cosmetologist, Therapeutic Massage Therapist and intuitive healer
to provide an unforgettable massage experience.
